A few months after "The Golf Ball Book" was published and people started to read and comment on the book, it quickly surfaced that almost everyone was a potential collector. They shared my enthusiasm for the beauty of the various intricate dimple and bramble patterns of the old golf balls, as well as finally understanding the different materials used resulting in a far greater appreciation of the subject.

Hence it wasn't a big step to make available the book bundled with a selection of golf balls. Mostly modern balls mind you, but different to each other. And quite acceptable as the beginning of a collection.
