SYNOPSIS

The High Sierra has long been the playground for coastal Californians. Since the Olympics were held at Squaw Valley in 1960, the Sierra Nevada has gained international renown for its winter sports. Lately summer activities such as golf have become very popular resulting in more and more golf courses appearing in the high country, designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

Courses included in this book, are: Grizzly Ranch, The Dragon, Whitehawk Ranch, Tahoe Donner, Coyote Moon, Old Greenwood, Squaw Creek, Incline Village, Edgewood Tahoe, Sierra Star and Snowcreek. Perhaps you've played one or two of these beautiful courses. With this book you now have a chance to visit the others, and reminisce about the ones you've played.

Each of the eleven courses has on average 14 pages with large photographs on almost every page with informative text about the venue as well as a full description of the golf course itself.
