SYNOPSIS:

This golf course was the first course to be commissioned and built by a regional golf association. In this case, the NCGA. Designed by Bobby Jones Jr. the course opened for play in 1985 and has been a total success with its membership. The course is at the highest point on the peninsula and is situated completely in the Del Monte forest. The book is primarily a photographic work, each hole is represented on 4 pages, with 2 images, a map of each hole, and a commentary of do's and don'ts, and how to strategize play. The text explores the history of the area, the NCGA, the evolution of golf course architectue, the Tournaments of the NCGA and a general description of the golf course.
